Are you a Nanney descendant?

Yes

If so tell me about your Nanney Family

Andrew T. Nanny and Susan Ray Nanny were my great-great grandparents. Their oldest son, Benjamin and his wife Nancy Dixon Nanny were my great grandparents. Their only son, James Thomas Nanny and his wife Ella Mae Smith Nanny were my grandparents. Their son, James Madison Nanny and his wife, Lavona Swain Nanny were my parents.
I need information on Andrew T. Nanny. He gave his birth date and place as 1823 in Tennessee when he married Susan Ray in Illinois. That's all I can find. I'd also like to know when and where he died.

My second great grandmother, Mary Salina Nanney, married Alfred Webb Morgan. My grandmother's name was Nell Morgan, the daughter of Thomas Clingman Morgan.
I am bumfuzzled about the connection between the Nanney's of Boston and our descendant John Nanney Sr. It does not add up and I'm trying to undoer who is John Nanney Sr. actual father (do not think it is the Samuel who died in Bermuda thirty years before John's death.

Together we have found the connection to the ancestors of William Nanna. Father is James Nanna born cir 1801 Married Esther Shepherd 25 Dec 1821 at Athens OH. I doubt that William is an only child but no siblings have been found yet. If any turn up I would love to hear about it!
We make a good team!
